About Me

Hi, my name is Sallie Mazzur and I am a senior at the University of Rhode Island, majoring in English Literature. The purpose of this portfolio is to showcase my professional strengths throughout my current internship this fall at the Block Island Historical Society, in Block Island, Rhode Island.

My Personal Mission Statement

At the Block Island Historical Society (B.I.H.S.), the mission of the organization is, "to protect and preserve the unique history of Block Island and to provide cultural education for future generations of visitors and residents." 
I look forward to establishing myself at this non-profit organization during my internship by assisting Pamela Gasner, the Executive Director of the museum, in order to achieve and develop the mission.
